Quality Assurance & Testing Standard (Report) for frames
Quality Assurance
To assure the quality, the bike frames are checked with precision instruments and double check with manual verification by experienced technicians.
Testing Standard (Report) - ISO 4210 Compliance
If necessary, we can arrange the testing in accordance with ISO standards (ISO 4210) to guarantee the strength, including the in-house fatigue and impact testing. The testing institute can be SGS, TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD. You can select a preferred one on your own.
Packing & Shipment of Frames
Good Packing of Painted Frames
For framesets, especially the painted framesets for sale, the surfaces of bicycle frames can be damaged easily during transportation or shipment. Thus, we usually choose plastic bubble bags or EPE foams to wrap the frames. Then normally, two frames are fastened together with plastic ties and put into a 7-layer corrugated cardboard box. In this way, the frames can be protected nicely and there’s no worry of scratches and bumps.

We use computer-controlled tools to precisely cut the tubes for aluminum alloy frames (AL 6061) for sale with complex design.
Fine welding by experienced workers.
In the workshops of our factory, there’s a group of good workers with over at least 5 years’ experience. With a spirit of workmanship, the welding (for high carbon steel frame or aluminum frame) is done finely and nicely by our skilled workers. Usually, the electric bike frames have a higher quality level, since the speed of electric bike frames is much higher than the ordinary bicycles without motor.
Strict quality control and inspection procedures
After the production is done, the inspectors from our Quality Department will inspect each bike frame to ensure each one is qualified. Problems like painting damages or unqualified welding will be found and the corresponding bike frames will be picked up from the order.

Each bike frame will be sealed with BODO’s frame number (or the clients can provide their own frame numbers instead). Then whenever there’s a quality issue, we can track the production record easily and analyze the cause and then find a practical solution quickly.
